Surgical imaging host application

The next upgrade of the Zenition Mobile Surgery product: a hosting application enabling 3D reconstruction and surgical workflow visualisation, with a refreshed design system, touch input, automated patient-series launch and an upgraded multi-modality viewer.

The work was delivered in a regulated environment with distributed teams across Europe and India.

Highlights

• Built the hosting framework UI and integrated independently delivered clinical subsystems into one product experience
• Configuration-driven subsystem loading to support multiple product variants without recompiling
• Asynchronous initialisation and shutdown to keep the UI responsive, plus CPU core affinity on multi-core embedded devices
• BDD UI automation with Behave and Python, MSTest suites, GitHub Actions builds, and OpenCover, TICS and Coverity quality gates
• Authored requirements, design, DFMEA and traceability documentation for FDA and EU MDR compliance; validated workflows across 20+ languages
